Mud gas separator will sit after choke manifold and before shale shaker to break flammable gas bubbles. AIPU delivered 2 sets of mud gas separator to sea port that ready delivery to India this week. The 2 sets of mud gas separator will be delivered into 1 set 40 feet container from Shanghai to Mumbai by sea. The India client purchased shale shakers earlier this year and repeat order this time after good jobsite working performance for first batch of shale shaker.

Main Specification of AIPU Mud Gas Separator

1. Model of gas separator: APMGS 1000, AP is the name of “ AIPU” in short, MGS is the name of “mud gas separator” in short, 1000 means vessel diameter 1000mm.
2. The mud flow rate is adjustable and max mud flow rate reaches to 300 cubic meters per hour. The mud will flow into separator from choke manifold directly.
3. The mud inlet size 5 inch, discharge line of mud is 8 inch and gas vent line 8” size. The discharge line of mud will connect with distribution box before shale shakers for mud further process, the gas vent line will connect with flare ignition device with about 30 or 50 meters distance for igniting waste gas.
4. The footprint for separator is 2 meters by 2 meters, height of separator is 5.8 meters. Each set of separator will be able to packed into a 20 feet container for sea delivery.

Other than mud gas separator, AIPU Solids Control build flare ignition device to co-work with gas separator. The flare ignition device will sit 30 or 50 meters away from degasser, AIPU will be able to supply 30 or 50 meters pipeline between 2 sets equipments as well as flare ignition device with suitable junction box and electrical control panel for ingintion.
