Drilling fluids mud agitator is part of the drilling fluid solids control equipment. The purpose of mud agitator is to obtain uniformity of drilling mud and solids particles suspension. It is mainly used in drilling mud stirred mixing and to prevent drilling mud solids particles depositing.

  1. Adopt circular cylindrical worm reducer, shaft section for the circular cylindrical worm, turbine profile for turbine phase conjugate circle. The pump tooth close reliable performance, high efficiency, compact structure.
  2. In combination with speed reducer and explosion-proof motor, easy to maintain, suitable for harsh operating conditions.
  3. Stirring intensity, wide usage and reduce the starting resistance torque.
  4. Motor placed in a horizontal position, easy to install, adjust and replace.

Mud agitator structure and working principle

  1. Structure: Mud agitator is composed by explosion proof motor, reducer, engine base and impeller components four parts. The motor and the speed reducer, reducer and the impeller shaft are connected by rigid coupling. Impeller consists of four blades welding.
  2. Working principle: The impeller can make the mixing liquid to produce the vortex motion, enhancing the mixing effect. Caught in the middle of the blade tray can also prevent downtime mud particles depositing on the lower leaves around, such use can reduce the starting resistance torque of sediment on the blade, thereby, avoiding overload and burnout motor.
