MegaMACS energy independent cleaning system is built by KMT International for oil tank cleaning, sludge processing, soil remediation, reservoirs cleaning and industrial wastewater treatment. The cleaning system is performing de-slugging, oil recovery and tank cleaning washing during oil tank cleaning in one continuous process. MegaMACS is very versatile system and able to clean ships, barges, sludge collection pits and lagoons, various petrochemical holding reservoirs, etc. It is perform outstanding results when used for crude oil tank cleaning with very compact, mobile and energy independent package.

MegaMACS Cleaning System Working Flow

Hot water will be preheated by a heat exchanger and then a washing pump will transfer hot water to the robotic cannon, then the dilutes oil sludge will be extracted from the tank by a booster pump into vibro-separator in main process tank. The large solid particles larger than 6mm size will be separated out and smaller particles into the main process tank. Some solid particles will be settled onto the V shaped tank bottom and light oil with some small size particles rise on top of fluids. A set of conveyor will discharge solids to the suction of screw pump that feeding for three phase decanter centrifuge. A set of floating skimmer with pump evacuates the oil with small solids particles will be pumping into 3 phase decanter centrifuge, clean water in middle of the tank will be transfer through heat exchanger by a set of washing pump and returns to the robotic cannon for recycle use.

AIPU Oil Sludge Treatment System Compared MegaMACS

AIPU build oil sludge treatment system with 4 or 5 skid mounted tank similar design with MegaMACS and similar working flow. The first tank skid install a vibro-separator to cutting big particles to 20mm and chemicals and hot water added for dilutes oil sludge and help oil separate from sludge. An float oil collector will collect oil content and delivery to oil tank, the solids content will be pumping to decanter centrifuge to dry solids. The second and third tank has a similar working procedure and forth tank skid installed a centrifuge for last separation.
