AIPU containerized dewatering unit is design to remove suspended solids in dirty water. As we know the traditional solids fluids separation equipments like shale shaker, desander, desilter, decanter centrifuge mainly separate heavy solids particles and hard to separate suspended solids out. The AIPU dewatering unit use chemicals to make suspended solids flocculation and gather together before enter into decanter centrifuge. After fine solids gather together, the decanter centrifuge will help to separate the gathered solids out by centrifugal force. The layout and appearance for the dewatering unit can be customized and our standard design is containerized for fast moving and easy maintenance.

Dewatering Unit – Chemical Mixing Unit

Chemical mixing unit is one of the main parts for a dewatering unit. There 2 parts for chemical mixing. The first part is a three tank automatic mixing system for powder chemical mixing. The  max powder mixing capacity is 1 – 6 kg/hr and mixing capacity is 1500 l/hr with a 45L storage capacity. There including 3 low speed agitator help mixing and PLC controlled equipments for automatically operate.  The second part is for liquid flocculent mixing tank with capacity of 2000L with a small agitator help for mixing.

Dewatering Unit – Decanter Centrifuge

AIPU high speed decanter centrifuge will be able to working as an dewatering centrifuge at speed 3200RPM. The main rotating parts like bowl and screw is made by stainless steel SS304 or SS316L depending on client indication. The normal bowl speed is 3200RPM and max bowl speed reaches to 3500RPM. The impeller on screw can be coated with tungsten carbide or bolted tungsten carbide tiles for protection. The feeding pump for centrifuge will choose a set of screw pump to protect the floc solids. VFD control panel as an option for high speed centrifuge for PLC control depending on budget or operation requirement.
