There are many supplier in China for oil and gas solids control system but not all of them professional for HDD mud system design or clear it’s working conditions.

HDD Mud Recycling System Configuration

1. Depending on mud flow capacity, there will be 1 or 2 sets shale shaker for first phase cleaning at 40 to 100 mesh screen. There are 2 panels or 3 panels shaker for option for different mud flow or double deck shaker with cyclones.
2. If mud flow is 400GPM or above, there can be desander installed on another shaker for second phase cleaning. Then desilter installed on a same or another shaker for third phase cleaning. If mud flow bellow 400GPM, there will be only desilter cyclone installed.
3. 1 set centrifugal pump sit on tank skid for feeding drilling mud into desander cyclone and another centrifugal pump sit on tank skid for feeding mud after desander cyclone into desilter cyclone for further treatment. Mixing pump and hopper will be installed if client require a mud mixing function.
4. Mud tank size will be depending on mud storage capacity requirement. The tank size will be from 3000mm long to 12000mm long from mud flow 200gpm to 1000GPM capacity. The tank will be divided into several tank compartment depending on drilling activity and equipments layout.
5. Mud agitator will be set on clean mud tank for mud agitating. The correct rotating direction is to pushing mud down. The agitator shaft length will be depending on mud tank depth and impeller size can be changed depending on mud condition and motor size.
