Basic Requirement Of A Desanding Plant

1. Mud flow capacity will be depending on drilling conditions that from 50 cubic meters per hour to 500 cubic meters per hour. There will be a slurry pump to pick up drilling mud and transfer to shale shaker bottom deck with a coarse mesh screen to separate stones and big solids particles out to protect slurry pump on tank.
2. The separation size normally require 30-70 microns depending on drilling conditions by control of desander cyclone or desilter cyclone size and quantity. The desander cone normally 10 inch and above size desander cyclone and desilter cyclone normally 4 inch and above size.
3. Decanter centrifuge can be installed depending on clients requirement. A decanter centrifuge separation size can be 2-7 microns by a high centrifugal force with a high speed rotating bowl and screw component.
